Authorize the client with PENROUZ ID. The device continues to enforce its own permissions.
Start with device discovery and file reads, then enable the capabilities you need.

Add a remote MCP server in the client’s tool settings. Name: MCPENROUZ. Transport: Streamable HTTP. Use the URL below with OAuth authentication.
The client should discover authorization metadata, open PENROUZ ID sign-in in your browser and retain its own OAuth session. Then request the tool list and connected devices.
Use MCPENROUZ tools: list devices, confirm the target computer and list files in the allowed folder. Start with read-only operations.
A chat without tools or a stdio-only client cannot connect directly. A stdio bridge must support remote HTTP MCP and OAuth. Do not give it the device token.
Name the device and allowed folder in the task. With multiple machines, this helps avoid selecting the wrong project.
Check the connected client and its access in your account. Folders, writes and terminal access are configured on the device.
Yes, if the application hosting the model supports tool calls, remote MCP and OAuth. The model alone does not establish the connection.
Check that the agent is running, the device is approved and the client signed in to the same PENROUZ ID.
No. A selected folder is enough for file tasks. Terminal access is separate and uses the OS account permissions.
Choose a working folder and AI client. Add writes and terminal access as your task requires.
